I
am Ron Guttman and as The Party Magician I have been delivering premium magical
entertain-ment for all types of audiences for over 20 years, not just around Toronto,
the GTA, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, and Brampton, but all around
York, Peel and Durham regions.
You could even go so far as to say that I, “Have magic show; will travel!” My performances have taken me all over Ontario and far beyond, too.
My interest in magic was sparked at a typically early age by an uncle who dabbled in the art as a hobby and the performing bug had bitten.
My name is Ron Guttman and I am The Party Magician!

A Professional Entertainer First
First and foremost, Ron considers himself an entertainer. And with his featured Family Magic Show, he has been entertaining audiences in cities across Canada and beyond. He is considered one of Toronto’s top children’s entertainers.
Ron began performing seriously while still in the 8th grade. High school and university saw him appearing in many revue and variety shows with comedic, dramatic and musical roles.
Later, his proficiency as a guitarist landed him an appearance on a CBC Superspecial with noted guitarist and musician Mason Williams.
He has even done some standup comedy so it should come as no surprise that his magic has a comic edge!
Ron combines elements of music, comedy and drama to entertain his audiences; storytelling is a significant part of many of his shows. And all shows feature a lot of audience participation. In a twenty minute club set he may use more than twenty volunteers.
Everyone gets involved when Ron takes the stage. There are no safe seats!
Award-Winning Magic
Each year The Sid Lorraine Hat & Rabbit Club, the Toronto chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians holds a stage magic competition. For the past several years, Ron has consistently placed among the top three competitors. In 2006, Ron walked away with top honours with his unique presentation of Bagels and Locks.
